Our goal is to help guide you through the surgical experience with safety, comfort, and ease. We strive to eliminate the guesswork from each procedure by preparing you for what is to come. Meeting for the first time can be overwhelming if you do
not know what to expect. Schedule your private, confidential consultation with Washingtonian Top Doctor, Maryland Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sheilah A. Lynch, and her first-class staff, and learn more about your procedure/surgery.
Your Consultation
Please contact our friendly, all-female patient care team, which will assist you in our scheduling process. We have two practice locations in Chevy Chase and Easton, Maryland. You can request a consultation on our website by completing the online contact form or by calling our practice. Most of our consultations last about one hour.
When you arrive, you will meet Dr. Sheilah A. Lynch to discuss what procedures you are interested in and your goals and needs.
Please come prepared with any questions or concerns you may have so that our team may better assist you. At the end of your consultation, you will receive a quote for the procedures discussed. The quote will reflect surgeon’s fees, operating room, anesthesia, and garments fees. It is valid for 60 days, as reflected in our Patient Registration forms. You may complete these forms before your consultation.
Your preoperative visit is typically scheduled about ten days before your surgery. At this time, you will receive prescriptions, instructions, and consent forms, have photos taken, and be fitted for postoperative garments. Dr. Lynch will collaborate with you to create a surgical plan that meets your specific surgical objectives and desires.
Once your plastic surgery is scheduled, you will receive a personal folder that contains the necessary patient forms, general and specific information about your chosen surgery, and helpful instructions for each stage of your recovery. It is important to review these materials so that all your questions can be answered at the preoperative visit or by calling our patient care team.
