offers the brazilian butt lift (bbl) to patients looking to create a more aesthetically pleasing backside appearance.
A tummy tummy tuck 360 or LIPO 360 can also help when combined with BBL surgery.
A buttock lift plastic surgery procedure improves the contours of the buttocks. A buttock lift is usually accomplished through augmentation or enlargement of the buttocks with silicone implants or fat grafting from another part of the body. Dr. Lynch’s preferred method is with fat grafting, commonly called fat transfer. Many know this procedure as “natural butt lift” which has been popularized in the United States and fashioned after buttock augmentation performed in Brazil.
With the aging process, most people will lose fullness in the buttocks and experience some degree of dropping of tissue. BBL Surgery can help your backside to look more youthful and curvaceous by adding volume from fat transfer. Placement of fat determines the shape of your buttock’s appearance and how much of a lift you can get.
For after weight loss patients with a large amount of excess skin and drooping of the natural butt lift, a lower body lift may be required. This procedure is called a body lift.
A body lift combined with a Brazilian natural butt lift starts when a segment of skin and fat from the posterior hip, lower back area, and lateral thighs is removed, and the buttocks and thighs are lifted. The buttocks are then enhanced/augmented with fat transfer. Sometimes, the low back fatty tissue is swung into the buttocks after removing the skin layer. Its blood supply attachments are left in place and transferred as one piece to the buttocks. This is called Autologous Tissue Augmentation of the Buttocks. In both cases described, the resulting scar left behind is located in the belt line of the waist, where it can be hidden in clothing.
Hip Dip Surgery (also called hip augmentation, or hip fat transfer) can enhance the shape of your hips for a rounder appearance, gender shaping, or simply to improve the appearance of your natural hips. Exercise can reshape your hips but fat distribution is determined by genetics and you can’t change your bone structure. If this is the case, the most effective option is to receive hip dip surgery.
During your initial consultation, you and Dr. Lynch will work together to discuss your concerns and desired results. Dr. Lynch will examine you as well as take photographs to help with the planning and performing of your Brazilian natural butt lift Lift surgery. Finally, you’ll receive important instructions to prepare for your procedure, a quote, and an explanation of the results you can expect to achieve.
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure uses a fat-transferring method.
During a BBL procedure, your fat is harvested by liposuctioning from other areas of your body (mainly lower back, flanks, abdomen, and thighs) and transferred into your buttocks.
You must have a donor site, and usually more than one, to have the fat transfer, so the procedure will be worth your while.
The fat is then injected with a small cannula into the desired areas of your buttock for augmentation. By transferring this fat, you will gain a lift and a more lifted and curvaceous appearance. The results can look very natural, and the extra benefit is that you will be able to contour another area where fat is less desirable.
When fat is transferred, some will not survive and is reabsorbed by your body. More fat than needed will be transferred with the expectation that some volume will be lost in the transfer process. As swelling decreases, you will experience some volume loss in the first few weeks. You will not see the final results until a few months after the procedure.
It is important to note that the fat transferred has an estimated 60% survival rate. This means a considerable amount of fat is needed to complete the BBL procedure.
Recovering from a BBL Procedure (buttock augmentation) is similar to liposuction. The incisions you will have are very small, just enough to allow the suction wand, or cannula, to go under the skin and remove the fat. You will feel sore in the areas where liposuction was performed, but you will feel little to no discomfort in the natural butt lift. You must wear a body garment for four weeks after the procedure. The body garment will compress the liposuction areas so that the skin will shrink and support the fat-transferred areas (buttocks). You can go back to work after one week, however, it will usually take a month before you feel completely back to normal. You can sit the day after the procedure, but it requires 2 to 4 weeks before you can begin exercising again.
