Limelight IPL Facial
CORRECT AGING, SUN DAMAGE, PIGMENT ISSUES, REDNESS
The Limelight IPL photo facial is a new approach to skin revitalization using Cutera’s Limelight technology. This procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and sun damage.
Limelight IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Reduce Redness, Telangiectasia, & Brown Spots.
This treatment is commonly used to correct the signs of aging, improve your skin texture, and improve pigmentary issues.
SKIN PIGMENT CORRECTION THAT WORKS
Limelight IPL can be used on nearly any part of your face, neck, or decollete. One to three treatments, each taking less than one hour, are needed to see satisfactory results. Some redness or swelling after each treatment is normal and usually subsides in a few hours.
What Is Limelight IPL?
Cutera’s Limelight is an FDA-cleared treatment to remove pigmentation. This anti-aging treatment is designed to treat various skin issues, such as redness, age spots, and tiny veins. It delivers pulses of light that are customized and safe for your unique skin tone.
The results of Limelight IPL are gradual yet natural. After treatment, brown spots on the skin will begin to darken. These dark spots generally take three to five days to scab and fall off. Over time, any redness on the skin will begin to improve. Keep the skin protected with a broad-spectrum sunscreen to help prevent the formation of new pigmentation on the face and body.
During your consultation, we will customize your Limelight IPL Facial to your skin type, treating the brown and/or red pigmented areas on your skin and stimulating collagen.
The Cutera Limelight Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a powerful system, specially designed to treat superficial hyperpigmentation, discoloration, ‘broken’ or damaged capillaries, which are highly visible – and skin redness.
- * Limelight IPL is one of the most effective treatments for Telangiectasia. It is often used to treat the dilated capillaries that appear as visible reddish or purple clusters.
- * If your capillaries look ‘spidery’ or overly visible on your facial skin (commonly seen around your nose, chin and cheeks)
- * Great treatment for sun-damaged decolletage areas.
The Limelight Facial is ideal for your face, neck, chest, or body with sun damage, uneven skin tone, redness, or rosacea. The most popular areas include the face, neck, décolleté, hands, shoulders, and arms because they tend to get more sun exposure. The Limelight IPL can also be used on the legs and upper back to treat skin redness, tiny veins, or brown spots.
When the light pulse from the Limelight IPL is delivered, you may experience a mild tingling or very brief ‘pinching-like’ sensation. Cooling gel is used to help cool and comfort your skin before the light energy is used. Numbing cream is typically not usually required.
Combining Limelight and Laser Genesis may be the secret to treating many common skin conditions. This combination therapy combines the strength of a light-based procedure with a laser-based procedure to address problems at the skin surface, including discolored complexion, freckles, sun damage, and even fine lines.
This treatment is worth trying if you have pigmentation, acne, large pore correction solutions, or other skin issues.
